Fraser Island March 2020

When:- Saturday 7 March - Sunday 15 March 2020

Duration:- 7 Days

Meeting:- Inskip Point (see below)

UHF:- Channel 15

Other:-

I suggest camping overnight at Inskip Friday night leaving first barge Saturday morning. Low tide is at 6am, first barge at 6am so leaving from Brisbane early is an option.

This is My Fraser, I'll show you some things not on the tourist trail.

No trailers, this will be a touring trip.

Showers are $1 in camp grounds, bring coins.

Fuel is available on the island but be prepared to pay $2-3/L

Several nights we will be bush camping, there are NO Facilities and you will need fresh water for cooking and drinking.

More details to follow, itinerary etc

The countdown is on!!

Your to do list should include:

* Booking campsites for on Fraser

* Pre-booking barge (if you would like to) you'll need to call to make the pre-payment - 6am barge on 7 March

* Beach vehicle permit

* If you are camping at Inskip on 6 March - camping permit.
