Kenilworth State Forest

Event: Week end Touring Camping Trip

Date: Saturday 10 Nov / Sunday 11 Nov

Trip Leader: Hangman (Ian) 0401 294 348

Meeting point: BP Morayfield, Bruce Highway (north bound)

Time: 7.30am for 8am derpart 

UHF : Channel 15

Trip Rating: Moderate. Please have recovery gear suitable for your vehicle.

Additional information: We are going to drive through Kenilwoth and Imbil State Forest with a smoko break at Boolumba Creek then head to Jimna, camping overnight at Peach Trees Camp ground.

Sunday we will drive home to Woodford via Bellthorpe.

You will need to book a site here for Saturday night 10 November  https://qpws.usedirect.com/qpws/

This is an overnight camping trip, pack warm clothes it can get cold here. Bring togs, sunscreen, insect repellant, food for the weekend

Will this be a camper trailer safe trip, or Swags/Tents only?

I suggest swags it is only overnight, I do not know what the tracks will be like in some sections. Cheers

Good point. Bunkers is it then. Hopefully we'll be able to make this one as long as work doesn't stuff me around again.
