It silly isn't how petty they are with things like this. When it is on it will still look like one light regardless of weather you have a black cover in the center of not.

Yep very petty, you will just have to put it on the roof rack and call it an auxillary light and not have it connected to the headlights at all. I would like to see any bullbar on a 4wd with spotties fitted that has a minimum 600mm gap.
